Website Outreach Workflow
This wiki page outlines the workflow for reaching out to potential translation companies.
Process
Website Check:
Look for a website address in the email you received. For example, if the email address is example@example.com, the website address might be example.com.
Try opening the website in your web browser.
Website Exists and is a Translation Company:
If the website exists and appears to be a translation company:
Update Table: Update the information about this company in our database/table (e.g., company name, services offered, contact details).
Further Research: Search Google for additional email addresses and phone numbers associated with the company.
Email Outreach: Send an email introducing yourself and your company, and expressing interest in collaboration.
Phone Follow-Up (Next Day): Call the company the next day to confirm they received your email and gauge their interest in working together.
Website Doesn't Exist or is For Sale:
If the website doesn't exist or appears to be for sale:
Add Comment: In your database/table, add a comment indicating the website status.
