VCG (Visual Content Generation) is an artificial intelligence (AI) technology to create images, videos, graphics, and other visual media. These technologies help create completely new images and videos, or improve the quality of existing visuals (restore old photos, upscale low-resolution, etc.). Image generation is used in entertainment, advertising, and virtual environments. Among the areas where VCG technologies are used a lot are film and media production, documentary and historical research, educational materials, art restoration and cultural preservation, genealogy projects, and medicine, where enhanced images are used for diagnostics and research.
