CYU Certification
Hi Lighthouse Annotator,
If you are reading these instructions, it means you have already taken the LE Certification and TA/TC Certification, and now it is time for you to take the CYU Certification.
Disclaimer: If you still haven’t taken the LE or TA/TC Certification, please, take the LE first and then TA/TC before moving on to CYU Certification.
IMPORTANT: Make sure NOT to skip tasks in certifications because the skipped tasks are automatically calculated as incorrect
Below you can find information about the additional preparation materials for CYU Certification:

IMPORTANT:
Please complete not more than 5 practice tasks before moving on to certification. Please make sure to count and stop once you submitted 5 tasks, because they won’t stop automatically.
Please make sure your inactive time (the time with the tool open when there’s no activity in the tool) is as low as possible. To assure this, please close the tool whenever you’re not working in it and try to work in parallel windows rather than in few tabs, in case you need to have guidelines open.
TAKING CERTIFICATION
After checking the training and the guidelines, you should move to taking the certification.
IMPORTANT: Don't skip tasks in certifications because the skipped tasks are automatically calculated as incorrect.

Please, keep in mind that due to technical issues with es_ES certification, es_ES resources will take their
certification in es_MX. Therefore, there may be some differences in vocabulary, regional expressions, and
certain grammatical structures. For example, the resources may notice that some words, phrases, or
even verb conjugations may differ between the two variants of Spanish and they should make sure to
grade as if they were es_MX only on this particular occasion.
IMPORTANT NOTES FOR CERTIFICATION:
1. Scope: You will receive a notification “No more tasks available” once you complete the certification. The certification will be considered completed and sent to review only after you submit all tasks and reach notification “No more tasks available”.
2. Deadline: Please, do your best to complete the certification as soon as you can.
3. TA/TC certification is in your locale language.
4. The purpose of Certification** is to check your understanding of the guidelines. It will be reviewed, and we will receive scores. Having a passing score is a prerequisite to participate in project production for TA/TC sub-project. Therefore, please make sure that each submission is in line with the guidelines. Take your time to go through each step of the task and double check everything before submitting – once you submit the task, you cannot go back to it.
