General style

Addressing

When the context is unclear, it’s best to use the formal/neutral form of address (вы, ваш). One important consideration is capitalization: lowercase is always preferred, unless used in a personal letter addressed to a particular individual. Please refer to the following rule: http://new.gramota.ru/spravka/letters/51-rubric-88 The informal form of address (ты, твой) is used in all casual communications, when the message is addressed to a friend, a family member or a younger person.
