tips:project_name

Project name should start with the language combination, like DE>EN, and project name.

* If the client wants us to translate one file into several languages at one time, we create ONE project. Write languages via / sign, e.g.:
DE>EN/FR/IT Template_name

* If the project name has several words, use underscore instead of space between words.
* Language codes according to ISO, e.g. /DE for German/ or /EL for Greek/.
* We use the following abbreviations at the beginning of the project name:

  • BA_ (Bedienungsanleitung) - for manuals
  • WS_ (Website) - for a website (e.g. DE>EN WS_alchemytanslations.com)
  • BG_ (Beglaudigung) - for certified translation
  • DL_ (Dolmetschen) - for interpreting projects

* If there is a long-term project from the same client, use the same name with the date of start or a batch name in the following format, e.g.
DE>EN Auto_200219
or
DE>EN Auto_MTPE_H001

* For similar projects with different work types add the type of work in the name, e.g.
DE>EN Auto_MTPE_H001
or
DE>EN Auto_HT_H001

  • HT_ - for Human Translation
  • MTPE_ - for Machine Translation Post Editing
  • QA_ - for Quality Assurance
