Lighthouse Production Guidelines and Updates
Updated Production Schedule
The production schedule has been revised since the project's start. Regular work is now anticipated for all vendors qualified for production in the coming weeks. No “idle” or “on-call” periods are expected.
Note: The client is US-based, and this week coincides with Thanksgiving, which may lead to slower production due to reduced client responsiveness.
Daily Production Instructions
To maintain alignment with client priorities:
Daily Updates: Instructions outlining urgent tasks will be sent regularly via email.
Task Assignments: Currently, production links are shared manually. Soon, tasks will be assigned directly via the platform to streamline processes.
Working Hours Commitment
We encourage vendors to commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Daily Limit: The tool enforces a cap of 10 hours per day. Any hours logged beyond this will not be included in payment calculations.
Planning Tip: Ensure proper planning to maximize productive hours within the daily cap.
Payment Cycle
Payments will follow the monthly cycle outlined in the SOW:
Payment Period: 15th of the current month to the 14th of the following month.
First Cycle: As production began after November 15th, initial payments will be processed in the December cycle.
Training and Practice Time
Compensation for training/practice time applies only to vendors who qualify for production after meeting the required production hours. Payment occurs in the first cycle after qualification.
Compensation Rates:
LE: 1 hour
CYU and TA/TC: 1.5 hours each
VCG: Potentially 1 hour
DA: Potentially 1 hour
Exclusions: vendors passing LE but failing other certifications will not receive training/practice compensation.
Tool Timer and Active Time Tracking
Vendors can track time spent in the client tool via the built-in timer:
Timer Features: Located in the upper-right corner, it displays tasks submitted and active time in the last 24 hours.
Inactive Time: The timer pauses after 10 seconds of inactivity (e.g., switching tabs) but tracks inactive time, which is compensated up to 5% of total time (active + inactive).
Efficiency Tip: Use two windows side-by-side for research and tool usage to minimize inactive time.
Weekly Production Reports
A weekly production report will be provided by the client, detailing production hours for each vendor.
